　　Ⅳ. Project Background and Construction Conditions: Compound Rimantadine Capsules is a new compound preparation. Prepare Rimantadine HCl into common micropills, and prepare Pseudoephedrine, Acetaminophen, and Chlorphenamine Maleate into release micropills, respectively, and mix and fill to produce capsules according to a proper proportion. It is mainly used in treatment of influenza caused by influenza virus, and it enjoys characteristics of good efficacy, long efficacy-remaining duration, and low toxic and side effects, and safe use, etc. It is not reported at home and abroad; moreover, release micropills may overcome defects of release tablets, such as strict requirements for excipients and for process, and unstable quality of product batches. The product of this project belongs to Category I New Drugs, and bridges a gap in our country, with its technique reaching the international advanced level.
　　Ⅴ. Project Progression:
　　Prepare Rimantadine HCl into common micropills, and prepare Pseudoephedrine, Acetaminophen, and Chlorphenamine Maleate into release micropills, respectively, and mix and fill to produce capsules according to an adequate proportion. The project has entered the Phase of clinical research.
　　Ⅵ. Construction Scale and Construction Content:
　　It is planned to establish a product line complying with the requirements of GMP. It is expected, after marketing the product: new annual output RMB 150 million yuan, profit RMB 30 million yuan, tax revenue RMB 12.50 million yuan, and making a profit of US$10 million through export.
