　　Ⅳ. Project Background and Construction Conditions: Brake material is a key safety part of auto parts and components. For a long time, due to weak research and development ability, manufacturers in our country can produce only asbestos brake segments with carcinogenic pollution and severe performance defects. With increased auto speed and loading capacity, and reinforced environmental protection awareness, auto industry has suggested high demand for comprehensive performance of brake segments. In recent years, our country has formulated the schedule to prohibit asbestos material in brake segments, and a number of famous foreign enterprises have entered the domestic market of auto brake segments one after another. Asbestos-free auto brake segment is a product made of metallic materials through a specific working process. It is of long service life and high safety performance, and can avoid environmental pollution. As this product has strict requirements for raw materials, high precision of production equip　　ment, and difficult process, therefore, new asbestos-free auto brake segment is a new industry in our country.

　　The designed construction investment of this project is RMB 96 million yuan, and the fund to be attracted is RMB 9.6 million yuan.
