Along the axes of the Suyong Hall and Shude Hall, there are six groups of buildings, namely, the Fangbo’s Residence, the ZhuShi’s Residence, DaFu’s Residence, Shi Jinshi’s Residence, Wutai Hall, and Longwei Hall. The whole residential complex extends as long as 300 meters, covering an area of more than 500 mu. All of these buildings are of primitive simplicity and elegance, grand and beautiful, and are extraordinarily imposing. It is praised as the “World-Class Cultural Inheritance” by experts both at home and abroad. The Suyong Hall in particular has a majestic layout and a grand scale, and the sculptures of its components are magnificent. They contain Dong yang wooden sculpture, stone sculpture, brick sculpture, and colored paintings, all of which make it as the pith of the ancient private dwelling. There are more than 300 different kinds of exquisite palace lanterns of Ming and Qing types in the Hall, and the one hanging in the major hall has gotten elected the largest in the world in Guinness.   Qing Ming Shang He Tu Beauty Spot 　　 It is one of the most important beauty spot which is of special appeal in Hengdian World Studios—“The Eastern Hollywood”, and one of the first lot of Credit-Grade AAAA tourist sites throughout the country. In this spot, there are Qing Ming Shang He Tu Shooting Base, Shuihu Heroes’ Sculptures Garden, and Dazhi Temple. The set of “Qing Ming Shang He Tu” is built up based on the well known painting called “Life along the River on the Qingming Festival” (Qing Ming Shang He Tu) by Song painter Zhang Zeduan. It occupies an area of more than 500 mu. It artistically presents the scene of prosperity in Bianliang,, capital of the Song Dynasty, and vividly reflects the social conditions and the Chinese city life at that time. In Shuihu Heroes’ Sculptures Garden, the 108 heroes are extremely lifelike. The Da Zhi Temple is very imposing and splendid, covering an area of 108 mu. In the Sakyamuni Hall, the main hall of the temple, the statue of Sakyamuni is 28.88 meters’ high, and it is the highest statue of Buddha in inner halls.   Palace of Emperor Qin 　　It is composed of the following four parts: the Palace of Emperor Qin Film and Television Shooting Site, Ming and Qing Streets Film and Television Shooting Site （Cultural Village）, the Ancient Hengdian Street Film and Television Shooting Site and Jiangnan Watery Region Film and Television Shooting Site. The total area it occupies is over 1400 mu. Here, the tourists can appreciate not only the style of ancient Chinese cities and the features of the downtown life of the past generations, but also the mien of the super film and television stars with their own eyes. It is really a good place for visiting the process of film and television shooting and spending holidays. The Palace of Emperor Qin has a pageant spectacle, and is of great momentum, skillfully combining the charm of the art with the historical reality.   Palaces and Gardens of Ming and Qing Dynasties 　　It is the largest beauty spot in Hengdian World Studios, occupying an area of more than 2,200 mu. The whole scenic spot contains seven parts, namely Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street Film and Television Shooting Site, Gun Battle Film and Television Shooting Site, Theme park-Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties Film and Television Shooting Site, Pingyan Cave, the Ropeway, Hong Kong Sleepless City Hotel and the Largest High-Tech Film Studio in Asia. In Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street Shooting Site, more than 80 films and TV plays have been shot till now, such as “Opium War”, “Little Li's Flying Dagger” and so on. It is one of the most influential studios at home. The ropeway of Pingyan Cave is the only sightseeing ropeway in Jinhua region at present. The Theme park-Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is of unprecedented scale, covers 1500mu. The buildings are magnificient, and there are more than 8000 rooms including imperial working halls and living buildings and attics, such as Cheng Tian Gate, Taihe Hall, Qianqing Hall, Jiaotai Hall, Kunning Hall, the Princes’ Dwellings, West Palace and so on. It is a super comprehensive scenic district with multifunction like films and TV plays shooting, large-scale assembling and holidays spending. It is a very influential tourist resort and famous studio in the fields of film, TV, and traveling in our country.   Hengdian ·The Red Army’s Long March Exhibition City 　　It is the largest comprehensive scenic spot which takes the 25000-li Long March of the Red Army as the theme throughout the country till now and a unique cultural beauty spot which typically combines the film and television culture with the Long March history and popular science. The total area of it is over 8000 mu, and the total investment has exceeded 300 million yuan. Here, the tourists can experience a 10-kilometer Long March. It embodies travel, education, training, entertainment, and military films and TV plays shooting. The whole Exhibition City is composed of the Long March-Theme Park, the National Defense Science and Technology Education Park and the Teenager Militia Training Base. In the National Defense Science and Technology Education Park, there are Parade House, Enginery House, Modern High-Tech War House, Space-Exploring House, Space Flight Commanding Center and Space Flight Launching Field. 　　 With an artistic item design and truly original visual angle, people build the Exhibition City at the foot of a hill and beside a stream. Its characteristics of perspective, beauty, interest, participation, intellect, and education appeal to its audience. It is an important window to show the various landscapes along the Long March road during that period, and to present the eventful affairs, the grand battles and the heroic deeds of the soldiers of the Red Army. It is also a significant base to educate the teenagers in the fine tradition of hard struggle, the knowledge of national defense, the patriotism, the teenagers’ qualities, and to educate the Party and League members in advanced nature. Hengdian Long March of the Red Army Exhibition City has been named the National Defense and Patriotism Education Base of Zhejiang Province.   Sandu Landscape Resort--Pingyan Cave 　　It is commonly called “Dragon-Head Ravine”(Longtou Jian), about 5 kilometers from the urban areas, and has been ranked as provincial scenic spot. In this spot, there are rugged cliffs standing facing each other, jagged grotesque rocks lending enchantment to the mountain, deep caves spreading all over the district, high waterfalls falling down seemingly from the sky. All of these are rarely dangerous. As “The First Cave in the South of the Yangtze River”, Pingyan Cave is a famous place for travelers to climb in spring and autumn, resort in summer and appreciate in winter. The main scenic spots in it are “the House for Listening to the Rain”, “Eighteen Bends”, “Heavenly Eastern Gate”, “Heavenly Western Gate”, “Mythical Clay Sculptures Corridor”, “One-jin Silk Ravine”(Jinsi Ravine), “Bell and Drum Tower”, “Tortoise Rock”, “Hotel in Cave”, “Huiyou Cave”, “Tiger Cave”, “Ram’s Horn Cave”, “Lotus Flower Pond”, “Sixty-six Steps”, “Baibu Jun”, “Lotus Pond”, “Wangyu Pavilion”, “Thousand-Buddha Pagoda”, and so on. Among all of these spots, “One-jin Silk Ravine”(Jinsi Ravin) is the most attractive one. This ravine is about one meter wide, and unfathomably deep. Legend has it that people ever tied a piece of stone at one end of a reel of silk which is one jin heavy and gradually sank it into the ravine, when the other end of the silk was hold in hand, the stone still can not reach the bottom of the ravine, so it is called “One-jin Silk Ravine”(Jinsi Ravine).   Luohe Mountain 　　Luohe Mountain, one of the municipal-level tourist attractions, lies in Liushi Sub-district, with a distance of 18 kilometers away from Dongyang proper.It is dotted with enchanting, gorgeous and varied natural scenery. It also boasts charming and unique places of historic figures and cultural heritage. The whole site covers an area of 9.8 square kilometers, featuring 3 sights, 4 scenic areas and 10 scenic spots. In it, tourists can see that the staircases zigzag; that the creeks babble; that the waterfalls spatter; that the pines and cypresses are lined up on both sides of the staircases; that a thousand rocks compete to stand out as marvelous spectacles and a hundred flowers contend in beauty. Still, tourists can get a view of the following major rocky sites: Heralding Rooster, Wrestling Bulls, Moon-gazing Tortoise, Dwelling-choosing Rock, Huge Dragon, Buddhist Guanyin Cave, Green Pine in Divine Vase Hill, Precipitous Moonlike Mirror, Crane-shaped Ancient Temple, Surviving Works of Wenchang’s, and Cliff-clining Palms, to name just a few. It is held that tourists will lost themselves in these soothing and relaxing scenes.   Shemu Mountain 　　Shemu Mountain is located beneath Swan Peak, one of the foothills of the Kuaiji ridges in Jiangbei Sub-district. It is 6 kilometers away from the downtown area of Dongyang and is one of the municipal-level tourist attractions. “The mountains are so lofty that even birds feel tired of hovering over them; the temple is so remote that it seems to be enveloped in thick mist.” The imposing Lion Mount and Elephant Mount stand facing each other and defend themselves on the threshold. Within the site, the clear Panxi Stream winds through the hills like a belt and the hilly terrain stages spectacles of coiling dragons and crouching tigers with peaks rising one after another. The wind soughs when passing through the immense forest and the air is filled with the fragrance of exuberant flowers and trees. Its main structures are a row of resplendent, solemn temples with upturned eaves. Behind the temples towers the emerald Swan Peak, which is 720 plus meters tall above sea level. Springing from the Swan Peak, Shemu Tunnel wriggles through clouds and mists in the eastern direction toward Jinsi Pool and finally flows into Panxi Stream. In addition, there are rock formations in various postures: some appear to be a pride of lions lying supine, some elephants running and walking, some others swans fluttering their wings and still others lovers snuggling up to each other. The pines stand upright against the wind among the hills and the vines swaying gently in the valley. In a word, whatever comes into sight, it is of unique charm.   Dongbai Mount 　　Dongbai Mount lies in the southern part of the Kuaiji ridges and its main peak is Taibai Peak which is of 1,194.7-meter height above sea level. If starting at the foot of the mountain and following the zigzag path upward, tourists will feast their eyes on peaceful, pastoral scenery: green serried woods flourish, age-old vines twine around the branches, stone bridges span the creeks and deep springs well up, and the Mount is dotted with rare herbs and exotic flowers. On the summit there is the Huge Jagged Rock, about 33.33-meter high. The bottom is narrower than the upper part so it seems to be on the verge of collapse. Still, on the summit was constructed the Hall of Female Immortals. Inside the hall, statues of Seven Fairies are erected; beside the hall lies a stone pond called “Tianchi” (the place where the fairies bath). Tradition has it that on July 7 of every lunar year, the seven fairies would descend to the secular world and have a bath in the pond so people in the neighborhood ascended to the summit on July 6 and burned joss sticks and prostrated themselves before the statues in hopes of getting blessed. This custom passes down to the present. Dongbai Mount boasts picturesque scenery and a pleasant climate with the highest temperature of 28℃ in summer and is a wonderful summer resort. The following are some of the fascinating scenic spots: Xiao Long Qi Gu (Roaring Dragon Hillock, Flapping Flag Mountain and Rolling Drum Mountain), Chengshan Smoke Watchtower, Longwei Crane Seeing Site, Ten-li Soughing Pine Site and Dongbai Sunrise Site.   Baiyun Cultural City 　　Baiyun Cultural City is located at the foot of Xizeng Mountain, adjacent to Hangwen Expressway and Jinyong Expressway. It is within a distance of over ten kilometers from Yiwu’s China Commodity City, Yiwu’s Civil Airport and Yiwu Railway Station in the west and has good transport facilities. The main scenic spots are Guanyin Pagoda, Guanyin Tower, Guanyin Lake, Giant Natural Statue of Sitting Buddha, Virgin Boy Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, and Longevity Pavilion. Among them Guanyin Pagoda is 68 meters high and is propped up by huge pillars, soaring to the sky with great momentum. There stands a 29.9-meter statue of Thousand-Hand Guanyin made of camphorwood in the Pagoda. It is the most fabulous interior architecture of the kind and is praised as “the First Pagoda under Heaven.” 　　 The thirteen-storey Guanyin Tower is a hundred meters high and covers a floor space of 960 square meters. It ranks first among the imitations of ancient towers in Southeastern Asia and is crowned as “Oriental Pearl.” On Guanyin Lake ripples blue water, which has a similar flavor to that of the West Lake. The Lake also features a scene of Nan Hai Chao Yin (South Sea Tides). There are also geese singing and wild ducks fluttering on the lake.（2006年12月）
